Toasted Walnuts

Need toasted or roasted walnuts? Learn how to Toast Walnuts in the oven!  In this video Karen Breyer will show you an easy way to toast walnuts in the oven. Toasting or roasting walnuts in the oven will give you more even browning than the skillet method. Toasted walnuts are delicious and can be eaten plain or used in many recipes. Watch this video and learn to toast walnuts today!

 

Yield: 2 cups

Toasted Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnuts, shelled and raw

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread walnuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until the walnuts just start to brown and have a nutty aroma.

Notes

Larger nuts take longer to cook than smaller nuts.
